    The Gin Festival 2018
I have been lucky enough to attend the summer Gin Festival and now the winter one. Personally I prefer the summer one as it's bigger and has more to offer and is just more fun. Oh and if you go to either, despite them saying it's a cashless system, that only includes the gin. So if you want to eat, don't forget your cash if you want food and currently they don't have a cash machine in the Tobacco Docks so get it beforehand!!

It may surprise you to know, that despite not being a vegetarian, the thing that makes the perfect roast for me isn’t the meat. I’m not even going to discuss the meat in this series, or anything that isn’t a vegetable. Now i’m sure some of your are already screaming at me in outrage but hear me out. I’m not

Tribute to Lucy Deane Streatfeild with Spicy Squash Soup
Tribute to Lucy Deane Streatfeild with Spicy Squash Soup It’s 2018 and it’s the 100th anniversary of women getting the vote in the UK. As a female myself in this modern era, we are still to this day fighting for equality, respect, dignity and kindness. But 100 years ago a great leap was made and women over 30 got the vote, it was the beginning of progress and ten years later the age limit would drop to equal the men's voting age. Much of this constant war for equality was driven by The

  9. Taiwanese Bao Buns

    Taiwanese Bao Buns
Bao Buns In my twenties I used to love hanging out at my local Wing Yip and eating Chinese Bao Buns. When Taiwanese Bao buns started to become all the rage, I was excited to try them and I wasn’t disappointed. They tasted amazing and were a much more evolved form of steamed bun that allowed an endless combination of fillings. The sweet soft flavour of the buns is more subtle affair than their Chinese cousins. All in all, I was in love and quickly learnt to make them at home, so here is my

I come from a Neapolitan and English family, brought up in London, surrounded by immigrants working in the hospitality industry as my dad was a chef.

This meant I was fed an eclectic selection of meals from European to African to Asian. I absorbed it all and soon I traveled myself to learn even more beautiful dishes.

I use these recipes in my day to day life, on my friends and for events. So here is a peek into my life and the food that dominates it. And maybe one day I’ll be able to afford opening up my own little place so everyone can come eat my food.
